
2021 Crocs at Work ”Refresh” Campaign
During the height of the 2020 COVID shutdowns, Chris took the initiative to re-evaluate and refresh the Crocs at Work line, knowing that the restaurant industry would soon need to resurge after the pandemic. Given the challenges of widespread restaurant closures and travel restrictions, Chris pivoted creatively by collaborating remotely with long-time friend and photographer Jody Horton, who had deep connections across the industry in Austin, Texas.
Despite the constraints, Chris and Jody successfully captured a fresh, authentic, and edgy tone for the Crocs at Work line, breathing new life into a category that was in dire need of a refresh. The resulting campaign not only resonated with workers in the service industry but also set a new standard for how Crocs could authentically represent its hardworking customer base in times of uncertainty.
